Many recruitment agencies work statewide, while others are focused more on an individual city. Find the kind of work you are interested in and explore your options!
- Civil Labourer – work on civil (ground works) construction sites doing labouring duties, often you might get rain days which are unpaid if you are casual but the pay is usually good (Approx. $35 p/h minimum for casual work) dont forget your White Card! Upskill and get working at heights, confined space, or any tickets such as haul truck (dump truck) or Roller and you will become more employable, MR (Medium Ridgid) and HR (Heavy Rigid) licences will increase employability and pay. Recruitment agencies include;
- Traffic Controller – Work in all weather as a traffic controller (I have done this, trust me when i say night shifts are way better, less heat and traffic and more money!) – Check what you need to do to get qualified here.
